COVID-19 is putting the NHS under enormous stress. Frontline staff are working heroic hours to contain the virus; their work and commitment are admirable as they lead the fight against the virus.
MFS, an established bridging loan provider, is proud to be an active support of a wide number of charitable initiatives, particularly in the healthcare field. And we are delighted to announce a new one: we have partnered with Benares to support NHS workers.
The renowned Indian restaurant is delivering free takeaway meals to doctors and nurses treating patients with coronavirus. MFS is working in alongside Benares, which is located in the same building in Mayfair, to cover the costs of the meals. Food is being delivered to Hammersmith, Charing Cross, Chelsea & Westminster and St Mary’s hospitals. Local NHS medical centres in Mayfair, Knightsbridge and Victoria are also receiving these packages.
Since first beginning the initiative on 23rd March, Benares has delivered close to 1,000 meals to the NHS. This is a fantastic achievement and something that MFS is incredibly proud to be a part of.
Working together as a community
If there is one positive to take from this crisis, it is the community spirit on show. Businesses like MFS are committing time, money and people-power to help those in need. Importantly, more needs to be done. That’s why we are calling for anyone who would like to get involved in this initiative to reach out to the MFS team.
