Scott joined Market Financial Solutions as Underwriter in 2016, got promoted to Senior Lending Manager in 2018 and has since become a vital part of our executive team. He has led the Underwriting Department, served as a Key Credit Officer, and now holds the role of Deputy Chief Mortgage & Operations Officer.

Scott oversees our premier brokers, clients, and retention efforts daily. As a member of the Credit Committee, he works closely with internal teams to review, approve, and refine deals and operations. He is dedicated to improving internal processes, training our growing underwriting team, and addressing challenges as they arise.

Externally, Scott manages key relationships with brokers, valuers, and legal partners. His commitment, leadership, and experience make him an invaluable asset to our continued growth and success.

Scott's background and expertise

After finishing his education, Scott entered the world of work immediately, which allowed him to travel for two years and worked on behalf of a well-established bank during his time in Australia. Upon his return to the UK, he briefly worked for a boutique estate agency in Holland Park which cemented his love for property before focusing on the world of property finance.

In building his property market knowledge, Scott worked as a Second Charge Mortgage Underwriter at a regulated Master Broker prior to joining Market Financial Solutions. What all these roles shared was a commitment to high levels of premium services, with their importance imprinting on Scott’s work ethic.
