Deputy Chief Mortgage & Operations Officer – Front End

Omkar began his career with Market Financial Solutions in 2015, joining as a Senior Underwriter within the bridging finance department. He eventually became the Head of Buy-to-Let & Specialist Lending Underwriting, and is now our Deputy Chief Mortgage & Operations officer.

With over 15 years of specialist lending experience, Omkar has played a key role in overseeing, and perfecting our buy-to-let underwriting capabilities. He is also a member of the Credit Committee, ensuring our lending capabilities remain market leading.

Omkar ensures our bridging and buy-to-let borrowers receive the best possible support, and service from the Market Financial Solutions machine. His renowned industry insights allow us to remain one step ahead of any market challenges, and jump on new opportunities as they emerge.

Omkar's Background and Expertise

Omkar has spent over 15 years building his experience and expertise in the property lending landscape. Six of these years were in the regulated environment, providing him with a well-rounded view of the entire property market.

This knowledge has allowed Omkar to work closely with our Chief Mortgage Officer to develop key products which are now utilised by brokers and borrowers across England and Wales. He also oversees our general underwriting capabilities and credit operations.

Omkar ensures through his leadership that our underwriters perform at the top of their game for our underlying clients. This includes those who oversee our residential & commercial BTL mortgages, and our bridging loans.
